What does the data cover?

Since starting online classes, I have been sitting in front of my computer for almost six days a week to do classes and assignments, and for the rest of the day, I went out to meet my friends and had a happy time. According to my friends, I have often heard that I rarely laugh like a robot during my working days. Initially, I had the nickname of 'Happy Virus.' It's been a long time since the Thanksgiving holidays; I spent every day with my friends and family all week. And to realize how much laughter I was in the meantime, I decided to count how many times I laughed out loud(LOL) when I met my friends and family during the day.

Design Process

How to read the data?

On the right side of the screen, the text shows the dates for 7 days of data collection. When you hit the play button, these dates move and find their place to set. The starting point in the bar starting from the left, ellipse, represents the amount of 'time spent' with friends or family. The three vertical bars dividing the screen serve as the main axis for reading the measured values of 2, 5, and 8 hours. The length of the bar shows how much I laughed. When you hover the bar, it shows you what I have laughed at and how many times I laughed the day. The text changes color once as seconds pass.

Reflection : Lost & Gain

I realized that I usually laugh a lot during the last 7 days off, so it feels like much working on recording how much I laugh at every moment. I also realized how precious and happy it is to spend time with important people. On the other hand, it was very sad that I lost my laughter at the beginning of this course, which I wanted to take. So I thought that I should enjoy it a little more and live with peace of mind.
